2015 Nine Popes – Museum Release

$214.00

Paler, beautifully burnished colour, as expected with Grenache, but still a whisper of crimson. Opens aromatically with a definitive ‘garrigue’ nose of herbs & lavender, which sweetens with some initial time in the glass. Sweet entry into the mouth, with the richness showing at the edge of the tongue. Still some tannic firmness on the palate but a lingering sweetness on the finish. If you are looking for comparative descriptors look in the pinot direction for this vintage rather than the Mediterranean – Tasted 28th March 2025

Much like the great Grenache wines of the world, this wine has the potential to cellar for 25+ years. It has already spent the first 10 years of its maturation in our climate controlled cellar, so we have done some of the hard yards for you!
