Varietal: 50 % Grenache, 48% Shiraz, 2 % Mataro
Region: Krondorf, Eden Valley, Rowland Flat
Alcohol: 14.5%
Tasting Notes: Paler, beautifully burnished colour, as expected with Grenache, but still a whisper of crimson. Opens aromatically with a definitive ‘garrigue’ nose of herbs & lavender, which sweetens with some initial time in the glass. Sweet entry into the mouth, with the richness showing at the edge of the tongue. Still some tannic firmness on the palate but a lingering sweetness on the finish.
