Varietal: Shiraz
Region: Krondorf
Alcohol: 14.5%
Tasting Notes: A unique old school Barossa gem. A homage to the famous old Saltram Pressings of the ‘60’s and ‘70’s. A single vineyard source (Nitschke Road block) gave us the fruit for the wine but we use only the pure pressings portion of the juice. Lovely deep colour, with purple rim. Firm but juicy palate with evident but fine tannins. Rich, almost mulberry like palate flavour profile. A mix of pepper and sweetness intermixed with the new American oak flavours. Long term style.
